One of the worst things you can do while heading to an assignment is having a preconceived notion of how a photo will ultimately turn out. This was the expection though. It was a last-minute assignment to illustrate the down-trend of volunteers in fire fighting. As I drove there I thought, "It would be cool if there were at least three people there, I could do a double-exposure and have two of them leave the frame between shots. Of course I don't have the tripod with me ... no wait, it's in the trunk I think ... lol" I was fortunate there WERE three people there and that the guy at right (who was in both exposures) stay still enough to pull the image off! Of course, with Photoshop these days, I could easily crank out a boatload of shots like this.
